Those deities those false gods, how they seem to enjoy such chaos.

To flip a switch, and send everything into all but total darkness. To send something, from that rift- perhaps, perhaps -running in the spaces where you can no longer see, to spread fear like a disease. Amusing.

And you all, always stating the obvious. You waste the air you breathe, to say in the face of darkness, that there is no light.

Barriers. Modification. Momentary lapse in memory, judgment, time.

... Such a sound, that infernal ticking, like a bug buzzing in my ears. Only to be swatted.

Because Mayuri is very active in the pursuit of his own interests, I decided to give him a plot oriented post separated from his critique post.
